Where it all begins
High up in the Himalayas, where winters fall below freezing and the summer sun is strong and sharp, grows a small, bright orange berry that has been treasured for generations – sea buckthorn. In the mountain villages, it has long been known as a gift of nature. The plant survives where very little else can – in dry, cold, rocky land at high altitude – and that strength is packed into every tiny berry.

For centuries, people living in the Himalayan region have used sea buckthorn as part of their daily lives. Yet for most of India, this superberry has remained unknown. Himshubh was born to change that.

Our story
Himshubh started with a simple question: why should the purest foods of our own mountains be so hard to find?

Most juices on the shelf today are full of added sugar, flavours and preservatives. We wanted to create something different – a product that is honest, pure and as close to nature as possible. So we went back to the source, the Himalayas, and built Himshubh around one ingredient we truly believe in: sea buckthorn.

What makes sea buckthorn special
Sea buckthorn is often called a superberry, and it has earned that name.

How we make it

3. Cold-pressing – instead of heating, the berries are cold-pressed. Heat can destroy natural nutrients, so cold-pressing helps keep the goodness intact.
4. Packing – the juice is packed hygienically and sealed to reach you fresh.
